"Hospitalized, she had a stroke": Juana Viale and all of Canal Trece are dismayed by what was reported on their program

A heartfelt moment was experienced on Almorzando con Juana, the program hosted by Juana Viale on Canal Trece. There, she once again interviewed prominent figures from our country, who opened their hearts to the viewers.
One of them was Gonzalo Heredia, who spoke about his new book. "When I wrote Extranjera, I started from a place that always belongs to me. The literature of the self, how you perceive, something that caught your attention," the renowned actor began by stating.
"My dad came home very rarely during the pandemic, with restricted visits. His mother, my grandmother, was hospitalized; she had a stroke. I came to see him because he needed to talk about it. I didn't have that close grandmother-grandson relationship with my grandmother, but rather a little more distant," he said.
"He told me things about his mother. He needed to talk, he needed to have her in his mind. The story of her life. My grandmother was a Syrian immigrant who came here to Argentina... he told me a very powerful story. He has like clippings," said Gonzalo Heredia.
In front of Juana Viale , he decided to give more details. "He told me that he had supposedly arrived by boat, from Damascus, and that the boat was going to Brazil. Supposedly, a storm forced them to disembark in Argentina. The crew members were pushing the immigrants because they needed to lighten their load to continue their journey," he said.
"The immigrants were pushed into the river with their belongings. Into the water. That was an image that stayed with me. It took time; in the meantime, I wrote a play. A search. There's something about time, about searching for the tone in other readings," the writer and actor explained.
